Achievement and connecting; you are designed for community

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

How is your "relational intelligence"?

Three fundamental relational decisions:

1. I will invest time and effort in deep relationships.
   Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
   Acts 2:46
2. I will learn to overcome the fear of refection.
   Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
   Romans 15:7
3. I will pursue relational initiatives.
   We love because he first loved us.
   1 John 4:19

It's all about love

Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "
