ONE MORE
September 26th, 2008 by JerrisFor the last 3 months I have been challenging Grace CC to consider ONE MORE.
So, I’m going to keep asking the question, “who is the ONE MORE in your life”? Of course I have to ask myself this same question. Is it a neighbor, the guy at Dunkin Donuts, the paint guys at Home Depot, the man I met at the Dick’s Sporting Goods? I can get myself so busy that I neglect to stop and see what God is doing right in front me. I also have to keep selfish ambition in check. Do I want to reach ONE MORE for the Kingdom of God or do I just want to fill the seats at Grace Community Church ? For today I am resolved to pray, see, listen and respond. I am reclaiming the truth once again… “This only have I found, God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes” Ecclesiastes 7:29 So God has made man simple and we are the ones who constantly complicate things. Today I am keenly aware that “I Don’t Have What It Takes”…….God does!
Who is the ONE MORE you need to speak to, listen to, or pray for today?

There are several local athletes currently competing in the 2008 Paralympics in Bejing, including our very own coach Mike “Frog” Frogley. Grace Community had originally planned to host live video of the gold medal games for both women’s and men’s wheelchair basketball. But due to the recent bad weather we decided to encourage you to view these events on your own. The most interesting live coverage is early of a morning this Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Below are links and details for viewing these live events from your computer.
