Amy, I'm glad we caught up with each other on Sunday! Now I have a face to go with the blog. : )

The "Do Not Worry" section of this passage has always had my name written all over it. I am a worrier. (I think it might be hereditary.) And it does no good whatsoever! This is clearly a command Jesus gives us, so it's disobedient for me to worry. I need to obey and PLAN, but not worry. Otherwise, I can "what if" everything to death.

So many of these verses are powerful! 27: Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life. I am a worry worm. This verse has always helped me remember that I can't worry something away. Pray and trust. Pray and trust. And Julie if you read this today thank you for finding me on Sunday. And write at night, if that works for you. I like to check this at the end of the day too:)

"your whole body will be full of light."...this is a reality that I long for deeply. I am trying to imagine a deep satisfaction with having what I need to drink and eat and wear. And then to have my inner light be bright and warm. This is all I need. This is full satisfaction. This is integrity.
