My Christmas highlight this year, like many others in our history, was when one of our children "created" a gift out of their own stash for an unexpected visitor to our home. (Granted, this year, I guess I had been told to expect this person, but I forgot they were coming....oops.) It has happened many times at our house...but we/they have given only out of their own abundance. Just like the crowd, sharing with one another the food that Jesus had miraculously provided.
It'd be fun to have some of you post here times when you have been priviliged to share or have seen others share from the miraculous abundance God has provided.....

What is remarkable is that right after Jesus had fed all these people from a small lunch bag, the Pharisees asked for a sign. I am probably that dense a lot of the time, when God has just done something miraculous right in front of me, so I hesitate to cast stones---but I do notice this today. Lord, help me to keep my eyes open.

(Just a fun little aside....I think Dave fell in love with me the day right after we met when I sang these verses about Jesus healing the blind man sitting in Jerry 's office, imitating Johnny Cash! :-) )
