If you have been around me any you know that Eph 2:10 is a verse that resonates for me. That I am a piece of work in the hand of a creator and that HE has planned way in advance what HE wants for me...that motivates and inspires me!
How will you be inspired in 2008?
You can live one of two ways: normal mode or inspired mode.

Thank God for His grace....of which, I think, we actually know very little. I started to wake up to the enormity of Grace when I was called to extend it to our son about ten years ago. I am still mystified and humbled that God would use His own Son to satisfy the brutal and just requirement that my sin deserved. Not nearly humbled enough, though. I know that if I truly understood it all, I would be much less concerned about most of what concerns me.
We have this gift of grace and peace that unites us as followers of Christ. What an indescribable gift! And, as Dave often reminds us, we are his "poem," His workmanship, lovingly created to live our lives wholly devoted to becoming all He has made us to be. That is a good start to writing goals for 2008...to find and do more of the good works that God has uniquely created us for!
