Its like “Vuja De” all again over!
This week Grace will have two representatives at the annual LifeChurch.tv “December Event”- their annual gathering for staff. The theme this year is “Vuja De” (based on the vision that Elisha’s servant was allowed to see in 2 Kings 6:17). This year Network churches like us have been included in on this two day mini-conference. The focus is celebration, encouragement, and vision-casting.

Instead of a question, I think that I would like to have you express an observance from me. Lifechurch.tv has stretched me, stretched us, in a really grand way. Just like I am stretched by reading Isaiah 9 today….I don’t understand a lot of that passage , but I like the “wonderful counselor, prince of peace, etc.” part. And today, I have to stop and wonder and think and be a little uncomfortable at what I don’t readily understand. And I am thinking today about how I am sick…and in need of a wonderful counselor…and considering the ways I am not willing (or able) to hear the counsel that will make me well.
Thank the lifechurch.tv folks for the nudging that is good for me….even if I don’t always welcome it.
