Porn what?
All week I have been telling people I meet and interact with about Porn Sunday this week at Grace. I am so enthusiastic about it. I want them there this Sunday. I want them to have help in facing this issue. I want them to find Christ. Its our vision.
Anyway…the first response is typically shock. But in every case, within a few minutes they are nodding and agreeing that church should be about being honest and helpful about a scourge like pornography.
What do you think? How are people around you reacting?

Same responses as you, Dave. People are shocked, but quickly, when hearing that use of pornography is the same in the “churched” population as in the “unchurched” population…and that 37% of pastors admit to using pornography….they are more shocked that no one has addressed this before.
I always add in that pornography devalues women, wrecks lives, and hurts families and children. How can you argue with the value of proclaiming truth????
I’m not sure anyone I have talked with is coming to Grace on Sunday, but they are sure thinking and talking about it!
