Thanks
Genuine thankfulness is a mark of a growing God person. It is so easy to “think” thankfulness but not say it. The story recorded in Luke 17 is of 10 lepers who were healed by Jesus. One of them stopped, returned to the site of the healing and thanked the healer. They were all thrilled to be healed and they all knew who did the healing. But only one of them, a reject samaritan, came back and said it.
MacDonald says that resilient people are ones who sweep their memory for opportunities to express genuine thanks.
